About Mrs. Brown....
I have taught mathematics at Canton RV for 17 years. Believe it or not, those 17 years have flown by! I have been blessed with many wonderful colleagues and fantastic students. Teaching high school is one of the most challenging things I have ever done, but I am truly enjoying the experience.
I graduated from Highland High School in 1988 then started my college experience at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. Several years later and a few schools later, I finally graduated from Culver-Stockton College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Then years later, I received my Master's in Administration from William Woods University. I currently teach Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, but have taught a variety of math courses including geometry, trigonometry, and statistics. I am currently attending William Woods University and should obtain my Specialist degree by December 2017.
I have been married to my husband, Tim, for 26 years. We have 2 sons, Lucas and Logan. Lucas, age 23, works in construction while Logan, age 19, attends MACC in Columbia, MO. My husband and I stay busy working in our garden and completing many different home improvement projects.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy playing trivia with friends, volleyball, and golfing.
